The LSU fans are right. Stopping the run in the option is no different than stopping it in a traditional offense. In both, all you have to do is tackle the guy with the ball.

No question that we'll 'show up.' A win would be great but the odds aren't with us on this one. (1) rookie qbs, (2) facing a radically different offense that runs the corners and EVERYBODY got the corners on us this season (c) hometown advantage to GT, (4) co-DCs who confuse rather than inspire players....I'll be there hoping for a win and I hope ALL Atlanta Tigers do likewise, but I'm getting ready for 2009, too. GEAUX TIGERS!

We are saying that you guys were the far better team last night- you beat us in all 3 phases of the game, your fans were great- turned out in force and made a ton of noise, and you coach is a horse's arse. (i.e. leaving his first team in the whole game, throwing bombs for the last 6 minutes of the game and for faking a punt with 6 minutes left in game up by 5 touchdowns).
My mom went to LSU and I was happy for her- I do hope Les Miles loses every game he coaches for the rest of his life. Hopefully you will be rid of him and get a coach that reflects the rest of you.
