We are saying that you guys were the far better team last night- you beat us in all 3 phases of the game, your fans were great- turned out in force and made a ton of noise, and you coach is a horse's arse. (i.e. leaving his first team in the whole game, throwing bombs for the last 6 minutes of the game and for faking a punt with 6 minutes left in game up by 5 touchdowns).
My mom went to LSU and I was happy for her- I do hope Les Miles loses every game he coaches for the rest of his life. Hopefully you will be rid of him and get a coach that reflects the rest of you.
Now you know what the Tech fans are saying this morning.

What station are you listening to?
I listen to both Sports Talk Stations all day long and have not heard any one of those quotes. We aren't UGAg fans and put our self esteem to the performance of our football team.
You can try and stir something up, but every Tech fan I talk to wanted to play a team as tough as LSU. As far as the score of the game goes, we will need to not have single turnover to win the game and nobody including Vegas is saying double digits.
Finally the Tech fans I know does agree that LSU is not in the same class that we are. If we work our butts off we have a chance to be. LSU has 2 National Championships in 5 years, we have 2 in 52 years. We aren't in LSU's class and very very few schools are.
Go hang out with the 20oz Bulldog- he will take your bait and create a fire storm. As for the rest of us- we are Jewish kid meeting the Pope. We have no business being here- but we sure are looking forward to the experience.

Tailgating at the Dome is awful. There is very little parking and all I have seen them allow is in the parking lot right behind your car. Nothing like you get to do at SEC venues.
There is some talk about folks actually setting up at GA Tech and then riding over to the Dome which is about a mile and a half away.
The Dome was built with the hope that fans would frequent the local watering hole instead of tailgate and bring your own.

I will be surprised if we (Tech) wins the game. You have a ton more talent and we are young and very very thin.
I am proud of our boys for making it the game- will be there to support him- but I expect to be sick of hearing the LSU Band and some it's high class fans before the game is over. (My mom went to LSU so I know I speak of :) )

As a Tech fan myself- That guy is an idiot. You guys are far more talented then we are and always play great in Atlanta.
I expect you guys will give us all we want and if we turn the ball over twice- you will win the game. If we don't- it should come down to the end of the game.
I hope you all come to Atlanta and have a great time. In 2000 that was the best atmosphere I had ever seen at a ball game at Dome.

Having more time to practice for it certainly is better than having less time. Also- the Flex Option/Spread Option/Triple Option (We have no idea of what we run) is not perfect in itself.
The only reason it works is Paul Johnson. He is to that offense what Steve Spurrier was to his when he actually cared about coaching. He will lull a defense into one thing and then pull something.
I have a friend that played for Navy and he said when Paul Johnson is calling plays you have 50,000 people guessing and only one that knows exactly what is about to happen.
You have to create turnovers, stay disciplined, and at the same time blow up the offensive line. It is very hard to defend when the right guy is pulling the levers. It is also impossible to simulate in practice so while you will have a month to get ready for it- it won't be until game time when you will actually "see it".
All that being said- I think you have a great shot at beating us. Outside of our defensive line- we are too young, too small, and too slow to hang with LSU.

What usually stops Tech is Tech. We turned the ball over 22 times this year and that is a ton for a 9-3 team.
The offense is high risk- high reward as the ball moves around from player to player during the play. We are undefeated this year when we are -1 or better in turnovers. We are 0-3 games where we are -2 or worse in turnovers.
I am VERY excited about seeing the offense run on carpet in a dome. Especially against guys that are as talented and as fast as LSU is.
I think the game is going be very high scoring as we have a real hard time with athletic quarterbacks.

I would definately try and get them ahead of time.
I have been to most Peach Bowls and the Tech/LSU Peach Bowl (We still haven't covered you guys by the way)in 2000 was the hardest ticket that I have ever gotten. I did not see a single ticket for sale before the game so folks may be thinking about the Peach Bowl with Miami.
Tech has already sold out their allotment and is going nuts over Paul Johnson. I would strongly recommend you gets your tickets sooner rather than later.

I think it is going to be a great game. LSU has 10 times the talent that Tech has and Tech is very young. Frankly so young they have no idea that they can't beat LSU.
For those that think they can shut down the option- I would tell you that it is harder than it looks. I think the biggest difference is the DBs are not used to being blocked as hard as they are every play. We block the corners so well that you have spread out to stop it. If you spread out- ACC POY will blow through the middle and hirt paydirt ala FSU and Miami.
I think that this will be a shoot out. We have a hard time with athletic QBs and we have a great game day coach.
I am looking forward to the game. If you end up section 303- look me up.
