As far as Ugag goes, the guy making the pick 6 was a 2nd team All-American and was tied for either 2nd or 3rd in the NCAA w/7 picks. Burnett is a good safety.

Stafford did throw for 400+ yards on us. They were unable to stop us in the 2nd half and we had a 26-0 3rd quarter. We finished w/409 yards rushing.

As far as FSU, they were fortunate. GT was up 31-20 driving on FSU's side of the field when Nesbitt went out injured. Our offense sputtered after that. Cooper Taylor made a heckuva play on the goaline, forcing the fumble.

GT was down to its 3rd string QB in that game. Nesbitt nor Shaw played at all due to injuries. Gardner Webb scored after Michael Johnson was called for "jumping," after landing on a teammate, altering GW's FG attempt. The 15 yarder gave GW the ball at GT's 6 and they scored. Yes, GW missed a late FG that would have forced OT.

Not knocking the 3rd string guy, but when you run an option spread and the D doesn't have to respect 2 of the options (QB keeper or the QB being fast enough to get to the edge to make a pitch), you won't do much. The 3rd string guy isn't the best passer either. Our o-line played its worst game of the year as well.

GT was fortunate that we could deal w/key players out and still pull off a win.

I've tried to block the game from memory.

No GT fans have said such nonsense. This is an LSU fan trying to stir the pot.

Does anyone honestly think that any sane GT fan would think that we are a much better team, when facing a very talented team that has won 2 titles in 5 years?
