Why did he cry so much? I love him and am not criticizing. I just want to know any insight

Because he’s a passionate individual that truly cares about what he does.

Something that a lot of people could have more of.

You clearly never followed his recruiting process. He was supposed to announce his commitment to TCU sooner, and in front of his grandmother but ESPN bumped his announcement spot. He then decided to commit to LSU after that, and he was probably thinking about her a lot in that moment since she passed shortly before his announcement.

Seriously? When you get up in front of a room of people and thank everyone for helping you get to this point in your life and you have such a big decision to make, you get emotional.

So Joey Burrow doesn't have passion and doesn't care? He cried for the first time in his life at the Heisman.

I was not surprised at all. He was a mad dog his freshman year and was robbed of three TD's. He should have been credited with six TD's his freshman year, but officials marked him out short of the goal each time.

Some people are just soulless selfish individuals and dont understand... You work your arse off to get to that next level and it gets emotional plus whatever else is going on in your life that some dont know about.

The poster above was clearly asking about any other things going on.

Most athletes don't get super emotional in these moments...and both are fine.

Damn y'all are touchy.

Heads up - curiosity doesn't come across too well when you post on TD.

Also at him calling Burrow Joey. I guess he’s an intimate associate of “Joey”.
