As much as it pains me to say I can completely see the red flags that GMs see. It goes back to that article he was quoted in saying that he was bullied by racist at Catholic which couldn't be further from the truth. Everything combined makes him seem like an attention whore and distraction.

I wasn't there so I don't know what happened. However, I 100% believe him. There's no shortage of future frat boy dick heads at Catholic. We played them in HS and I had numerous incidents with students that went to Catholic. I saw enough from people there to completely believe what he said.

Not to the extent to which everyone was led to believe. People have been discriminated against since the beginning of time there is literally nothing anyone can do to stop it.

But the huge difference is that, in America, it's NOT SYSTEMIC like it used to be 50+ years ago. In a country of 300 million people, you'll always have a few bad apples, but it's not systemic.
It's 2018, time to move on.

Yeah, I’ve spoken with people who know A LOT about Derrius’ tenure at CHS and they all say he’s full of shite and was worshipped by classmates and babied by the administration.

There's no question he was as a junior and senior. I'd bet he caught his fair share of shite as a freshman, just like all other athletes do.
I think there's some credence to the rumors that he's a bit more emotionally charged than other players.
