Wade has a lot to learn as a coach and people are starting to see that, but it ain't like we're terrible. However, when you have full collapses like LSU had in the 2nd half today, the criticism is warranted.
But if you look at the SEC right now, LSU is no different than any other team other than Arkansas who is really hot right now (and Bama has had a great year in the SEC). Tennessee has lost 3 of their last 5 including losing to an absolutely reeling Auburn team today which didn't even have it's only really talented player, Mizzou is 1-4 in their last 5 after the big Bama upset, etc. Even Bama lost worst than LSU did to Arkansas and struggled to get a W at home against Vandy on senior day, etc.
Basically, you have Bama and Arkansas at the top and just a bunch of decent to below-average teams after that.

The Alabama hysteria is hilarious. People completely disregard will Wade inherited the worst season in 60 years statistically and went 28-7 his second season.

LSU was better under Brown and Brady. Being better than the worst isn’t impressive. If it were, DiNardo would still be the coach.

We were stuck with two dry, boring coaches before him. Then he comes in and brings energy and then the ULL game happened then the SEC championship. I still like him but think he let this team have too much freedom at the beginning of the year and could never get them back. He did the same thing in 2018 but eventually got them playing the way he wanted.

You seriously Comparing Wade to Calipari? Cal has purchased a lot more good will with his accomplishments than Wade probably ever will. Cal has won a National Championship, been to more than a handful of Final Fours and has a boat load of conference championships. I’d say he is going to be given a lot more rope than Wade.
And btw, this is not a one year issue with Wade. You could see this train derailing for a couple of years. He just had some really good players that bailed him out of some really poor coaching decisions. That being said, I don’t think Wade should be fired this year, but if next year looks like more of the same he needs to go.
