Here at the Astros game and they announced their new addition

Bregman just got introduced, was in front of the dugout, on the big screen and put on an Astros jersey.

I turned it to the MLB network to see it and it was black out. 30 minutes later I remembered we had ROOT sports and I immediately face palmed myself!

He was interviewed on the ROOT broadcast and said he is going to be at Quad Cities tomorrow and hoped that he would play.

I was a big fan of the Quad City DJ's back in the day...hopefully Bregs can be bigger than them.

I have wondered how many thought Bregs might be moved to a different position, with Correa already there and looking like someone who could be the Astros' shortstop for many years.

Correa could move to 3B down the line, though he seems to handle shortstop well. The Bregman question of where he'll play in Houston won't be answered for at least a year.

Real dumb question, what channel is ROOT Sports on COX? I just had Cox set up after moving, and I only see Fox Sports SW with the Rangers games, can't find ROOT.

Cox does not carry Root Sports.

those things are pretty meaningless, it's the pros now, I'd be willing to bet that the majority of those intro'd rarely make the MLB debut with the team that drafted them, Breg is a pretty valuable commodity to them given that they've locked up another highly rated infielder and signed him at a discount, given the other infielder that they've locked up into a high $ contract, best of luck to Breg and all LSU guys

Too bad he couldn't be brought out on Saturday (tomorrow). It is LSU day at the Astros game and there will be a lot of LSU fans there tomorrow. I know I'll be there!!
