Oregon, Florida State.
It's sickening.
Well they need to otherwise College football would lose a lot of ratings and if that happen then we would go back to 1960 coverage of football where it just frick the rest we're the best type of thing.
It about time people learn that they have to push teams from all over the country to maintain an sustainable rating. Why would ACC or Pac 12 want to hear about SEC? They don't we don't play there, everyone KNOWS the SEC is the best and at the top of that list Alabama THEN LSU , nothing more need to be said.
It's also redundant to mention LSU right new because simply put our arse got waxed brazillian style on Jan 9th of last year. They sucked us off big time last year and we shite the bed.
Alabama is maintaining their excellence from last year and they also had a big game momentum like waxing Michigan, then Arkansas AT Arkansas withing three weeks time.
We do we have? AN unranked Washington and two cream puff.
I remember last year Alabama was barely mention early on and they were put at number two behind us.
Guess why? Because we start the ball rolling by Waxing Oregon week 1, Creampuff week 2, a Ranked Miss State Week three and then a ranked WVU week four.
Everyone in the nation was talking about us then and Alabama was barely mention.
So not only is it right they are doing what they are doing but LSU have yet to prove themselves at ALL against Alabama. Even if we win a close one against Alabama they would give Alabama more props then us. Now if we WAX alabama in Death Valley then we would get the spot light.

Could not agree more..
People need to chill and be patient.. LSU will get sucked off again once we get into the meat of schedule.. Pending we win those games of course

Yeah, It's a broken record, and worthless to say but if LSU takes care of business it will get all the PR we need. ESPN has markets outside of Alabama and Louisiana it has to throw some bones to as well.

Exactly besides, they need to hype up whoever going to fight LSU or Alabama for the NCG, they need to go to three and four, IE build up paper champions.

Op-who gives a frick what ESPN is saying now....it's the same year in and out..... You have to run the table and in our case beat the #1 team to make the CONFERENCE championship game.
As for ND... if they lose to Michigan.....watch 'em sick like a rock...if they win...they are legit to mention as returning to some prominance Not BCSNCG but legit. They have other hurdles to cross however.
FSU give 'em time... False sense of security so far... Beyond Clemson who do they play, really? Duke? I mean WTF?

I know several fans and alumni. The ones that really know football are still worried about Manuel.
The people you know then are fools. E.J. Manuel is the most accurate passer in the history of FSU. They should be worried about their O-line, which got him hammered last season.

Would you rather he say "Bama and LSU are bad arse and everyone else is not near as good. Enjoy our slate of games featuring teams that are not near as good as LSU and Bama."

So what. I only care a out what we do in our games. I could care less about what a bunch of entertainers think.
Why do people give these guys so much power?

If we take care of business, it won't matter.
If Notre Dame and South Carolina keep winning though, something will have to be done about Sylvester the Cat. At least we get a say in USCe's season.

Assuming LSU and Alabama are the 2 best teams, there is still a 3rd best team a 4th best team and a 5th best team etc. Why shouldn't those teams be discussed? And if no one has a chance agains the mighty SEC, why do we bother playing games at all?
And for those saying FSU, Oregon who ever doesn't play anybody. Tell me the best team in this group? Mich, W Ky, Fla Atlantic, Ark, MSU, OM, A&M, Auburn, Tenn, Mizzo? Outside of LSU, who exactly does Alabama play?

They have to try and keep the whole country interested, so they try to boost teams from every region. It's all about ratings.

All LSU has done so far is club baby seals.

You guys have to realize that they cannot just talk about two teams every day on every episode.

Two more coming up. Yes Auburn doesn't have it this year. Towson? Who booked this-embarrissing. Alabama starts off with Michigan.

Herbie & every talking head on ESPN simply spout the company line as demanded by the suits/producers ahead of time. That is what production meetings are about. And the suits care bout only one thing: ratings/income. This is the main complaint by all the former ESPN'ers; they are told what to emphasize & push down the viewers' throats. And ND will be shoved down our throats now, count on it.

Wait, you mean the executives at a private, public traded, for profit national TV network are concerned with profits over appeasing a bunch of crybaby LSU fans that think any mention that a team outside of the SEC might actually be good is an insult?
