If we had a qb who could accurately hit open WRs you wouldn’t be asking about playmakers out wide.

I believe we have a really good 4 in Jayce, Wilson, Watkins(!!) and Harris. Just have to get them the ball.

Good news is the Aggie secondary isn't great so maybe Sam get back back on track

Starting to think a large portion of the fanbase didn’t watch or was too drunk to realize what happened Saturday. A lot of box score guessers on the board today.

WRs wasn't the problem. QB not seeing open WRs and not making proper reads, QB missed some easy throws and DBs were following the gameplan in 1st half which made them look bad

I disagree.
I think Leavitt's inaccuracy and run first mindset has impacted the WR group. We don't have a dude like years previous, but we have a very capable group.
The DBs have been fine. You can't blame them when their supporting a game plan of keeping everything in front. If we were playing tight man and they were getting beat that would be a different conversation.

Very true. Thankfully the A&M secondary is worse than Ole Miss, they have some young guys back there no in sync.

Agree about the open receivers but in the long run our WRs are not good at contested balls or balls that need extra effort like a dive. I dont think Harris can catch anything that is not wide open and in his front pocket. Watkins and Wilson are not bad but they are not a Nabers, JJ2, or Chase for sure.
Unfortunately Green is our only go to guy right now.

Not many if any are JJ/Chase or Nabors type WRs, they are one of a kind but I do believe we have some reliable WRs just need a more accurate QB

There some very big misses by the DBs in the game that led to TDs. Scheme was actually right for the offensive play and the DBs took themselves out of it.
