If you are willing to accept an out from a bunt to advance the runner and he is indeed called for an out, it's a sacrifice. If he ends up being safe it's scored a single.

1st and 3rd to get the safety squeeze works well too but not as much of a no brained. Just puts the defense in a pickle

Fun fact - sac bunt is Latin, for "bag full". I'm not kidding.
