As a Michigan fan I thought it was a bit premature and stupid for him to do that. Charles Woodson was on an undefeated National Championship team. Peterson will probably not be. Also Desmond Howard stuck his pose in the final game of the season after dominating great teams all year. That punt was horribly covered and his teammates put up great blocks.

He's the best player in the country, he can pose all he wants for all I care.....but don't put the football down first.

Quit being a douche...it was awesome. They are talking about him and the heisman now in the media...kid is special and doesn't need you defining if he can be or not...idiot.

He's a defensive player, has to generate a little bit of press if he wants a shot at it. You, being a Michigan fan, all of people should understand that.
That was still a dumb move though.

Its really no big deal pal. We haven't had a Heisman winner since 59 and would love to see it happen. I thought it the pose was the highlight of the night and gave me chills when he did it. Would love to see a Tiger win it in my lifetime and this may be our best chance to date.

There will be a lot of older voters who will likely dismiss him for it.

He cost his team 15 yards.

Probably not the smartest thing to do. But it got the crowd going.
