You are going to have some serious regional bias in the voting. Every voter west of Dallas will probably not put Daniel’s in his/her top 10 just to try to prevent him from winning.

I’m a woman and I tend to agree with you to an extent. Should be only past winners or even players of the sport. People who know exactly what it takes to ascend to that level. Media member’s that have never played football have no business voting, imho.

If Brian Thomas's father was an NFL HOFer he would be a Heisman finalist. Both guys are essentially the same size. Yet, you can't watch both and tell me Thomas isn't is a SIGNIFICANTLY better run-after-catch player. Thomas reminds me a ton of Jefferson after the catch. A long, somewhat thin, guy who doesn't "look" like he's moving all that fast or suddenly, yet he's constantly making SEC DBs miss...when he's not just flat running by them.
That's not to say Harrison isn't a great player. He is. But the separation between he and Thomas is not very significant...if at all

So sad that this is true.
With the media companies teaming up with the conference, they're not even hiding their allegiance anymore.
Watching that Oregon game last week was embarrassing. The way Brock talked about Nix was so over the top it was hard to watch.

If someone leaves Nix or Daniel’s out of Top 10, they should be stripped of voting privileges
