don't understand why they didn't keep him engaged

Bc regardless of Les & Cam, Harris couldn't look past his first choice and couldn't hit a wide open screen pass.

Our only true tackle in the line up had to play center to make the calls for him. Best of luck.

If true good luck to Harris he gave it his best just wasn't successful at LSU for reasons not all entirely his fault.

Kid should have taken some of those other offers. He would have had more success and actually developed. Wanted to be a Tiger so I can't fault him.

Yeah, but it won't be him, let's face it he's not able to handle the moment and speed of the SEC. Wish the kid well whatever he decides.

He should wait for OC hire. It maybe someone who could make it click for him and everyone knows he has the physical tools.

Quitters going to quit.

One time, Bear threatened to quit when he was a player. Coach Crisp went and cleaned out his locker and was hauling his stuff outside of the locker room, told him he wanted him gone NOW. Bear wrote he was begging for another chance by the time they got to the door.

Heard from a reliable source brandon is set to Transfer and a player told me he thought Harris might go to Texas to follow Tom Herman who recruited him out of high school. And other choice was Wisconsin.

I've confirmed (barring any unexpected events) that he is expected to transfer. Good luck BH.

Someone close to Harris needs to explain to him that if he transfers, he might play (if he goes to a lesser school) but will regret it by the time he is in his thirties. If he stays, recommits himself, and competes, he might win the starting job in the spring or fall. After all, Coach O has made it clear that playing favorites is gone and Etling is pretty mediocre. Moreover, even if he loses out to Etling come game one, there is a high probability that the backup will have to play again.

Harris is not going to play in the NFL. If he takes the long view, he will be much better advised to stay, compete and maintain his dignity.

He is a string bean who is kinda fast. Can throw 90 mph fastballs, including on screen passes with zero touch. Those are the only physical tools I am aware of. Has the kid tried baseball yet?
