LSU Softball is buried way down there in the SEC pecking order. They're way down there behind NC Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and a few others.
The program is and will be Mediocrity Personified as long as Queen Beth is the HC and she'll be the HC until her contract expires in two years.(Sincere thanks to DA McWoodward for Softball Nikki's contract extension)

How they finish in sec conference play vs other sec teams ? Thats the only way to measure stats is in conference because some teams play an out of conference schedule ranked in the 100’s while LSU top 10. What would LSU average be if they played LA tech 8 more times instead of Arizona 3 times, UCLA, Duke, Ok State, UCF and Nebraska?? Just fyi they hit better than Arkansas, Alabama , Tennessee and Miss State in conference, all WCWS teams

Why so defensive? We only had 3 girls hit over 300. Edwards was one of them. Those are facts. It's huge to get your SS back. The end. You can argue the semantics of her being one of the few bright spots but you're arguing with yourself.

No, you're trying to downplay the significance of only having 3 girls hit over 300 by using hypotheticals. Nobody knows what LSU would have hit if they played a different schedule. We can only hypothesize. The teams that you mentioned also played a different SEC schedule than LSU. So, by your own hypothesis, it's insignificant that they hit for a lower average than LSU. This is a stupid conversation. Again, we had 3 girls hit over 300 and Edwards was one of them.

the regional is like a bowl game.
supers like one of the old NY6 bowl games or a WCWS play in.
WCWS is like NCAA football playoffs. agreed.
