The FunBelt royally screwed ULL when they decided to make a random announcement that the winner of the conference was going to the NOLA Bowl. This game should have been in New Orleans, and the NOLA match up should have been in Florida.

I didn’t realize univ. of Louisiana Lafayette enrollment was as high as you state nor have I checked your endowments but I accept your word for truth but what you call your call Louisiana, ULL, USL or SLI has no bearing on the quality that some of you watched today nor does the enrollment, endowment or football score or record entitle you in any measure to the nickname Louisiana. Dont you see that ULM could do the same thing and I believe has and does to a lesser extent without ramification or any recourse.

I've always thought that "Southwest Louisiana Junior College at Lafayette" has a nice ring to it.
