While I’m thrilled, it’s really not news that Alleva is out. He’s been a lame duck AD since Troy. It was just a matter of when the official announcement comes.

Whether one agrees with the hire of O or not and agrees with the backlash or not, it’s not debatable that Alleva has lost the support of the fanbase. You can’t have a leader that doesn’t have the support of his constituants, he’s powerless and won’t have the resources to move the program forward.
