BUT BUT TEN MORE PEOPLE WILL BE WAITING TO TAKE YOUR TICKETS

The people that were saying that probably don't remember the 90s. Slow football ticket sales and attendance will probably doom JA. If we start out 1-2 which is very possible it could get ugly quick.

Alexander hiring a new AD scares the shite out of me. This has one of those "be careful what you wish for" feelings.

You're ok with convicted felons having strong influence in the football program?

I'm not an insider like you are. I have never attended meetings and/or practices so I don't know exactly how his strong his influence is.

Please enlighten me on what you have seen and heard when you were in those meetings. TIA

If he doesn't have an influence then why the hell are we paying him?

Quit being obtuse, Orgeron named Ponamsky BY NAME when he was named Interim and then again as full time coach. His title is Special Assistant to the HC. Now is he designing game plans, running practice? No of course not, but he certainly appears to be someone Orgeron trusts and works closely with.

Well he put the fricking binder together that got O the job, so yeah I’d say he’s had an influence.

Dumb frick.

I have very little confidence in F King opening the checkbook while still paying Miles and O assuming he's fired after 2018.

What is he being paid to do? How strong is his influence? There are a lot of people around the athletic department that get paid and have no influence. How do we outsiders (assuming that you are one like me)know the strength of his influence?
I have read all this animosity toward him but I still haven't read from any credible source what exactly the problem is. Why is he so bad? I'm just curious that's all.

I don't know man. But, either way he is paid to have an influence on the program or he is paid to sit there and do nothing. Either way, LSU is paying a convicted felon to be associated with the program. You might not have a problem with that, but you can't see why some people don't want a convicted felon around the program?

No, I believe the crime for which he was charged and plead guilty to is falsifying his pilot's license. Great guy to have around your program.

If true this is very very bad news for Ree , space cowboy, and company.

I see the OP has three downvotes. That has to be Ree, cowboy, and grandpa.

You have an interesting point. Are there any other convicted felons hired by LSU?
That might be nice to know. What exactly is the Univesity's policy on hiring people with criminal records.
Would that include athletes?

So your cool with a guy that literally has ZERO experience putting together a presentation on how to build a championship football program? Wouldnt think someone that’s I don’t know work in a football or at least sports department somewhere maybe has a degree in, spitballohere, SPORTS MANAGEMENT or something would be more qualified to put a guideline that was used to sell the AD on why Coach O is the man for the job?
