Hasn’t had the season that was expected but I think he has handled it well. The play on the goal line where he ran over the photographer and stopped to help him up was awesome. I know that’s not heroic but I liked it. His time is steal coming. Hats off.

I'm glad to see Boutte willing to contribute to the team. While he hasn't had the season we had hoped, he made some clutch catches in the Bama game.

At least he didn't completely opt out like a lot of players did under Ed.

Am I crazy to think theres a chance he comes back next year? He'll be fully healthy all offseason and have a chance to get his stats back to WR1 draft status.

Everything about him changed when he became a father.

He was our leading receiver vs Bama. 7 catches for 51 yards.

Yes, he's going pro. He's a day 1 pick, regardless of this year's results. Kuddos to him for playing through adversity and being a productive member of the team. He'll have impact over the last 3-5 games

Lol stats do not affect his draft status. He will go in the 1st round as well as Ohio State wr Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Take a guess at what Njigba’s stats are this year.

It warmed my heart to see him burn Ricks on that scramble drill that led to a first.

He doesn't have enough tape to do that. I never got the "he doesn't want to play" narrative because he needs to show more to get up the draft board.

JSN and Boutte are both slipping in draft stock if you follow mocks and industry intel. But nobody else is running away with WR1 status so maybe they both still end up being top 15 picks.

He will have an opportunity to solidify his stock and really put a stamp on this season if we get to Atlanta.

Yeah. Beginning of season there were about 5 guys with 1st rd talent. I think Quentin Johnson (TCU) has moved up a bit this year, but there is a chance all 5 can still get taken on day 1.

It will really come down to what teams like (reminds me of Philadelphia picking Jalen Reagor before Justin Jefferson)

Boutte's stats are down because our QB is a poor passer. The NFL knows that and will draft him very high in the first round. I would expect Boutte to go around pick 15 to 20.

Boutte has become a good teammate and caught some big passes for us in the game on Saturday. It had to feel great for LSU to beat Bama and take the driver's seat in the West after the last two seasons LSU had with COVID and O being fired midway through last year.

Gotta disagree. It's clear to me (and to pro scouts I bet) that he is phoning it in.

Not saying he is a bad guy - just saying his heart is not in it right now.

He is costing himself tens of millions of dollars ....

Glad he stayed. He may have caught less than he wanted and blocked more than he wanted, but he proved himself a team player.

I haven't seen the pouting and bad body language he was showing in september...either BK reached him or JD did. Good to see bc i am sure the NFL notices that kind of stuff.
