Hate to say it but very few in the national media are talking about the refs

Everything in this narrative is about the score and Jimbo arriving. I don’t know if the SEC officials are terrible or on the take, but I learned after the Peterson interception that no one gives a shite if the game is stolen from you. And the SEC gives anywhere from zero fricks all the way to enabling it.
If anyone else has legitimate national media commiserators I’m happy to take some solace, but overall I think we re right back where we thought we were: fricking jobbed.

are you on twitter and were you on it last night?

I've seen the opposite on social media.
Lots of legit CFB journalists have expressed dismay over this latest display. Some have flat out said it was too obvious.

I saw tweets. But nothing in the write ups other than in regional blogs. ESPN didn’t even mention any referee controversy in their stories.

I saw social media but nothing from the national punditry.

They are glad LSU lost.

It's probably not noteworthy enough to most national writers to write a story on it.
but lets just say every other tweet last night was talking about it in the moment. national and local

It’s a total non-story outside the lunatic fringe

That’s what I mean. A fricking tweet means nothing. Nothing to pollsters nothing that would even hint at making a change.
They ll disappear like a fart in the wind.
No one will stand for better officiating and we ll be right back here next year

Malcolm Gladwell said we spent ten thousand hours at the game...

maybe you should reword your title then.
national media certainly were talking about it all last night.
they likely aren't going to make a write up about such a meaningless regional game.

Many that have pointed it out were saying it won't get pub since neither team is in the playoff hunt.
ESPN is happy we lost. They immediately mocked LSU for the Gatorade bath, even showing replays from KY in 2002. They then started the Jimbo/Saban narrative for 2019 and beyond. See my thread earlier today about this.

This game wasn’t even on the national radar; it was a couple of middling SEC west teams on SECN. Hardly anyone even watched it.

The refs did NOT cost LSU the game....... FINAL... LSU fans blame the refs for every loss.... The fanbase thinks its entitled and we should get all the calls.... Here ill say it... I saw at least 5 non calls on LSU last night yet the LSU fanbase doesn't want to talk about that.... I wonder why??????

I’ve now seen replays of the key moments in tonight’s Texas A&M/LSU game. The most objective fans with zero dogs in the hunt could only conclude LSU had this game ripped from them not once, not twice but 3 times. Sadly, since it’s not part of the “Who’s in Debate?” No one cares!

The @SEC will have another busy monday morning in Birmingham. Ive seen it and they’ve earned it. I really don’t give a damn what others think. I’m hated by many at LSU, and don’t care. I say what I see, and that kinda injustice must be addressed. The veil of impropriety exists.

I’ll keep it to inspire discussion but as usual you make a good point. But the game was between two nationally ranked teams playing for bowl placement.
When is it going to be significant enough for anything to change?
