So you’re eliminating a candidate before he even gets a chance to show improvement, based on his record at a perennial loser when given less resources. It’s a close minded way to view things.

even most coaches who WIN at the g4 and below levels fail at major programs. Why oh why would you give someone who couldn’t outfox and out scheme even the Billy Napier’s of the world a chance at LSU?

I have been a LSU fan since 1949, and I have never rooted against the Tigers, and I cannot think of any situation where I would!

Because he would have taken this years LSU team and outfox and out scheme Bama and OU! That’s the whole fricking point. I’m not advocating for Frank to be hired today. The whole point is if he outcoaches SEC staffs the rest of the year, top 10 ranked SEC staffs, he deserves the LOOK. Not that he needs to get hired.

i wouldn’t be put in this position if there weren’t people actually pushing for Frank to be the full time head coach, so blame them.

interim bounces are a thing and they don’t have any film on what Frank will do as LSU head coach.

I remember being at the "Pigs Fly " game in 1993 walking out of our section. Everyone was shocked and thrilled over the win. But on the concourse there were two buffoons with shirts a size too small saying "this just means Cuhley will be back next year."

It wouldn’t be one game. You’re being purposefully obtuse. You’re using records from another decade to rule out a coach in a search that would’ve outcoached multiple other teams. This “interim bump” you keep referring to means nothing. 0. If you’re ruling out coaches and throwing their on the field accomplishments due to an “interim bump” then man am I glad you’re not in charge of any coaching search.

For 1 anyone rooting against LSU should just leave and find a new team.
I want someone hungry and not a coach looking to get his retirement contract.
My main question of frank is does he have enough coaching connections at high levels to hire the right staff. It seems with NIL being a big part of recruiting I want a connected coach who can hire the right staff. Did franks staff at other stops move on to good careers ?
