what you posted isn’t even close to racism
Well, umm, YES IT IS…
So if you’re speaking of “average IQ”, then why the need to specify a race? just say “avg IQ”, right, NOT “avg IQ of black…”? Oh but… You’re inferring that average IQs differ significantly based on race? OK, Adolph…
Similarly, “the attitude and behavior of an average IQ black girl”…??? So is IQ by itself predictive of behavior? Well no of course not- BUT being black predicts stereotypical blackness amirite? Does being not as smart as “avg IQ whitegirls” make it easier to predict negative behavior? Does being an ABOVE-average black girl make you smart enough to not behave so black?
It’s always cute how people with deeply ingrained racial stereotypes and systemic racism insist there’s nothing racist about believing the racist thinking they engage in…

Won us a title. Who cares if she’s a drama queen.
Posted on 3/15/25 at 9:16 pm to homemadeshine
Not really.
I appreciated what she brought to LSU in terms of effort. No one can take that away from her. She has more fight than most women ballers by a pretty wide margin, and that’s easy to like when she’s on your side.
That said, her shtick wears thin really quickly even if she’s on your team. I never liked her approach to competition and many of her antics seem more attention-seeking than genuine. I couldn’t stand this while she was helping us and it makes her unwatchable (for me) once the active connection to LSU was removed.
I’ll always appreciate her getting us a title, but I can’t say I have a high opinion of her overall.

Since joining the WNBA, she comes across as trashy, jealous, ghetto and desperate. She needs to surround herself with professionals that know how to market a young talent and help her build a brand that has staying power.
She’s a great to elite player in the role she plays. I don’t care for her persona, but a lot of NBA and NFL players act similarly.
It’s her role in this strike that comes off the worst to me because it shows a complete lack of understanding of the reality of the sport. It’s completely irresponsible and if she’s not careful, she will hurt others in the sport because of it.
She can demand whatever pay she wants to and think she and others have earned it, but the WNBA can’t support that today, and maybe not ever. There are guys who make similar salaries in the rank and file of MLS and that league is profitable, draws better, and has been self-sustaining for a while. It’s not just a women’s sports issue. It’s a what the market will support issue.

How are you lumping Angel Reese and Burrow together? Wow. And you got upvotes for this? Sheesh. Reese needs someone to sit down and talk to her about her strategy. Burrow is/was a stud. This about politics? I could care less if they agree or disagree with me politically. I have good friends on both sides. Politics does not make the person.

Never said she would be. You carefully omit my last sentence in that paragraph, basically quote cropping to mislead.
Anyway, doesn't matter, I won't correspond with you further.

I still don’t care about women’s basketball.
I don’t either. But my wife had me into TikTok for a couple weeks, and somehow or other I keep getting Angel Reese lowlights and related videos, and they’re honestly the reason I haven’t deleted the app yet.

I never liked her because of how she treated Caitlin Clark in the championship game. I thought she displayed very poor sportsmanship. Probably racist.
Turns out she’s just stupid.

I was a huge Reese fan during her time at LSU and had no problem with the waving of her hand at Caitlyn Clark during the heat of competition. However, her antics since leaving LSU has changed my opinion tremendously and not in a good way.
My opinion of her has not changed, and that is because none of this is new. She always acted like that, but people made excuses about why it was justified. Waving her hand right in Clark's face was not "the heat of competition", it was a game well in hand, with the last few seconds being run off the clock as players were making their way to the bench with the game ending, and Reese proceeds to follow Clark around and persist in her actions, right the face of a player who surely feels awful enough that she's lost the national championship game. How anyone could possibly justify that as being anything other than atrocious sportsmanship, is simply beyond reason, to me.
Long before that, she was getting in people's faces, throwing elbows at people, and bringing unwanted drama.

I'll support in player while wearing the P&G... Once they leave it's all fair game though.

Elite player? Put down the crack pipe! She is in no way an elite player she barely can make a lay up.

The juxtaposition of this commonly held take on Angel with the thread on the Casan Evans gif is peak TD.
