Here is an idea......donate $20 of the $45 to the Les Miles buyout fund and nobody will complain.

More marketing and merchandising is needed--the days when you could just throw a half-assed buffet out there and charge people almost fifty bucks to sit around all day at a recruiting "bash" are over.

Wanna bet.

That place will be loaded down with thousands of "No life outside LSU football" fanatics that will thrill at every high school LSU recruit video and cheer every word that comes out of Leslies mouth. You've got to be to fork out that kind of change to sit around a fax machine all waiting for 17 year old kids letters of intent to come through, then hang around to listen to the eloquent Les Miles cheerlead and blow smoke up everyones arse. Oh well, guess the fanatics have got to get their fix and worship their gods at every opportunity. ......

What if they put Les Miles in a dunking booth!!! It would be worth it then even if it cost you and x-tra $10 to dunk the bastard.

From what I heard last year they improved the beer and food lines. The prior year it was an EPIC FAIL to say the least. All you can drink beer was like 4 small cups at most because you were waiting in line the rest of the time

The best year was the year the Saints played in Tiger Stadium after Katrina. Beer trucks handed out plastic bottles and it was run very efficiently. The hell in a handbasket was the year following that.

for 35$ we could all meet at a shoneys have breakfast, lunch and dinner. we could have a keg in the bed of a pick-up and lap tops and find out news first hand anyway. then at the end of the day someone act as miles and give a speech(wont b hard)

How much do you think they could charge if they said 100% would go into a buyout fund?

When did the fan base become so jaded that a day with thousands of fans celebrating LSU football in early February is something to mock?

Is it a little pricey? Yeah, but it includes food all day, beer all day. I went to the Bulldog yesterday, and spent more than $40 in half the time I'd be at the Bash. Will most of the kids that sign, and their faxes get cheered, ever see the field? Most of them will never see the field for three years. You're still celebrating your Tigers. I've gone in years that it was run really well and years when it wasn't. I have friends that like it, and friends that don't. If you don't like it, don't go, but I don't see why you'd shite on anything celebrating LSU.

There is such a thing as pricing yourself out of the market. Given that I just got laid off from my job of 18 1/2 years, I will be content to follow it on the Internet. However, on the flipside, things are getting so silly to the point of where they want $50 to hear Mike the Tiger fart. Sad thing is, there are those out there gullible enough to pay it. To each his own.

Ive been to every bsh sinve 2000 and even though 2 yrs ago they did have some issues with space and set up, I thought last year was much imporeved'

FYI, they layout this year is nearly identical to the layout last year, with a few less "vendor stations" to open the area up a little more.
