Quitters, most of the time, do not do well.

I am of the Jacob Hester school of thought. frick a quitter. Don't care about the reason unless it's a serious health issue that is ending your athletic career.
You can't even imagine someone like Burrow or Hester or Tebow "opting out" while teammates continue on alone.

It’s also a shame that Business Decision Dylan Moses hasn’t been picked, either
In his mind’s constant effort to justify a bad decision, he’ll say it would have been worse if he played for his home state and hometown.

Y’all are just so funny rewriting the same lame joke hundred different ways about someone who started for LSU on the greatest team ever. We are lucky any kids want to come to LSU the way we shite on our own. If a high school star recruit reads this board it’s just an embarrassment. Thank you Shelvin for your contribution at LSU, and if y’all want to shite on someone do it to Devontae Smith.

Whoever drafts shelving will get what they deserve. He is clearly lazy.

Opt out probably cost him at least $10 mil in NFL career earnings. Looks like he will be a 5 or 6 rd. pick.

Yes...Joey Chestnut picked him in the 2nd round of the World Competitive Eating league draft.

Opting out should be a red flag, competitors and gamers wouldn't do it.
That doesn't mean these people will not be a success, but I'll bet almost all have some issues in the future.

I’m sorry he deserves this! He quit on his team!! He should’ve played. I hate to say this but he’s not getting drafted. Had 1 good year!!

In an Infinite parallel universe, if he had come here, he would have played for Aranda for 3 years, not torn his ACL, won the Butkus and a NC in 2019 and been a 1st round pick in 2020.
Sounds like he made a poor business decision.

Shelvin received some great props for his talent from the espn draft crew. They said he can clog up the middle and take on double teams while being a very disruptive player in the middle. Good luck to the big fella
