Teammates said that he is in good spirits. Many of them said he took his poor performance very hard. They also said they are making sure his spirits weren't down.

There was a picture of Miles addressing team after game. Lee was front and center, and this was evident in his appearance. I think he was pressing- which was part of the problem.

He lifted JJ a couple of times last season. It was JJ's turn to help him.

I'm not sure I would have abandoned his so quickly, but protecting the ball was vital.

He had a bad game. It happens. Glad our defense had his back. He's a resilient player. I'm sure he'll be back. We will want him for the last three games (Arky, SEC title, MNC)

Think all that needs to be said is even Mauck and Flynn had some poor games. We won, that's all that matters.

Having a bad game against the second best defense in the country is nothing to be ashamed of.

flynn threw 3 first half ints in 07. including 2 in the 2nd quarter to let them back in that game. he ended up lighting em up that game. but jj's offense was working, so we went with that.

Seems like he was overcome with the hugeness of the game. Both INTs were him trying to force what wasn't there. Really the first time I've seen him do that all year. Was the first one after the fumbled snap? Seem like it was, and that hurt him, making him want to "make up for it". I feel bad for him, but hopefully he can put it behind him.

the truth.

your paradoxical opinion is valid and noted. I personaly believe Miles saw all he needed to see and, frankly, understood that our best chance to beat bama was to reduce the numerical advantage their d held over an offense led by JL. let's just be happy that we won as a "team"...when one guy falls we all bend to pick him up.
