Dude, did you stop watching the NFL after the Cowboys' last title?

A qb with similar build (at least coming out of college before ravens weight training) and skill set is negotiating a $200 million deal.

I would argue jd has more leadership charisma.

Prior to the last month or so he didn't seem to have sufficient accuracy or anticipation.

What a difference a few weeks makes.

If LSU wins the SEC championship over an undefeated UGA they are most definitely in. It would be crazy not to let them in even with 2 losses.

Is the scheme still outdated and shitty or nah?

I’d take a lot of guys over Jamarcus.
Hodson, Bert Jones, probably Flynn and Rohan too. JR was talented but lazy. He was a roller coaster qb- make a terrible mistake then follow it up with an amazing throw to bail himself out. Give me consistency.

Nobody gives a shite about the pro level.

Its about what hes doing at LSU and a 70% completion percentage seems to say otherwise about his passing ability.

We barely ran any condensed formations and didn't just run HB Zones. I gave Denbrock credit for abandoning his shitty scheme and doing what we all said he should do during the FSU game.

If you take Flynn over JR you're a certified moron.

They literally competed head to head for years and JR was miles ahead of him every year.

Rohan simply wasn't the player JR was. Look at the stats.

And you picked Flynn ahead of JR?

At the end of the season, I'd feel more comfortable saying it because of how he plays the game. I've been in his corner all season, but JR was a beast. What I'd say is that for all of the shite people talk about Jayden Daniels, the dude's been playing his arse off to win these games and is really efficient.

He plays another year, and he'll be a Heisman candidate and LSU is going to be scary.

I kinda hate using stats as the offense that is run today is more pass happy with safer throws. Watching them play in person I'd still give the edge to JR but Daniel's is on one hell of a run right now.

These comparisons are so silly. NO he aint one of the greatest of all time.
Do yourself a favor and by a few books on the history of LSU football. Good Grief!

Yeah, this is definitely taking his NFL career into account or just plain insanity. Jamarcus Russell was easily the best QB in college football his senior season, and if consistency is the metrics, picking Flynn over JR is a wild choice.

I mean like a pre-season front runner type of candidate. Of course he is after his recent run of form and well deserved. I just mean that a second season would likely be the difference between "in the mix" to "top QB in CFB" media coverage.

I'm amazed by how long a discussion can go on about great LSU quarterbacks before Bert Jones is mentioned. He is the true second best LSU quarterback, and it's not even close.

I don't have JR as the goat before Burrow.
How about the ones who had NFL careers?
How about those who won Natties?
I still have Rohan Davey over JR.

In 2006 JR had one of the greatest games an LSU QB ever had against MSU and Flynn was so terrible in mop up duty they had to put JR back in to ensure we didn't lose

Was Rohan ever close to being the best QB in CFB?

JR was, in 2006.

I can't speak for QBs from antiquity like YA or Jones, but it seems their pro careers are more a part of their legend than their LSU careers.
