We likely had to give you permission, but I highly doubt we care which jerseys we have to wear as it's an evening game (yes I know it will still be hot).

Remember, OOC have to agree to LSU's terms to wearing dark jersey's before signing a contract to play in Tiger Stadium

An unofficial part of the rule is we also wear white when playing power 5 OOC teams at home. Because they’re bigger games so obviously we wear our true jersey.

Hey everyone. Georgia Southern fan checking in.

We’re just as crazy about our unis as you guys are. With us, it’s not about what we wear at home or away, but some people freak out anytime we stray from our standard look. I would assume that the team and fans alike are fine with rolling into Death Valley in our home getups.

I love either uni. I just wish at bama LSU would go with an alternate away uni because I’m superstitious and by god we need to Change anything & everything to break the skid imo.

Should it really matter what UNI we wear against ANY TEAM???? I understand tradition but just go win it should not matter what you are wearing.....

Yeah this worked well at Mississippi when we went all white.

Why would LSU not wear purple against GSU?

ETA: I keep forgetting this is the home opener.

incorrect. Home opener, we ALWAYS wear white. all following non-conference home games, we wear purple.

LSU wore purple for the first home game in 2011. The home opener is ALMOST ALWAYS white.

That's not true. It just kind of depends. Last year LSU wore white for the Rice game at the end of the season. LSU doesn't wear purple for EVERY other non-conference home game.

I think what you meant was:

It has nothing to do with how I feel. The point was that if LSU wants to wear white jerseys, they will be wearing white jerseys regardless of NCAA regs. Because it’s likely written into the contract. We won’t get caught up in another Oregon State situation. At least not for a non-P5 matchup.

That rule was changed years ago. Home team picks what they want to wear. We where white for home opener no matter who it is. All other Non conference games we wear purple. What will be interesting is next year If they follow the usual script they would wear purple against Texas.

No... the USUAL script against Texas would be and will be white jerseys for LSU.

I agree, it is a big game they will wear white. But the way they have done things since Saban was here is that they wear white for the home opener and all other non conference games they wear purple.
