You shouldn't.

Deion absolutely would kill it on the recruiting trail at Auburn.

Urban Meyer would be interesting. His ego might convince him to take it if offered. Going against Saban and Kelly every year might be enough to entice him to take the job. I doubt it will happen, but you never know.

whats that story again I forgot

Auburn boosters created a fake rumor that Harsin was having an affair with the woman posters (who was also a Boise St cheerleader and followed Harsin to Auburn). Story has to be bullshite b/c we discussed this a few weeks ago on the MSB and she was still employed by Auburn, and there is a 0.0% chance that if there was any evidence of a relationship between her and Harsin, that both would be employed. This was Auburn boosters being the Auburnest and trying to not have to pay his buyout by manufacturing a "for cause" reason to shitcan him (it failed).

Honestly that would be a good hire for Auburn, a much better hire than the last three they made. Chizik, Gus, and Harsin were not hires I was ever impressed with.

Kiffin can keep winning at ole miss and have his choice of prime jobs over the next 3-4 years. He’d be an idiot to go to auburn.

Booster only care about beating Alabama, only coaches that could consistently challenge Nick Saban was Malzahn, Freeze and Urbs. So they should go all out for Freeze or Urbs. I do think Ruhle would be a home run as well but he doesn't seem like guy to coach at high pressure job like auburn especially after the panthers disaster.

I’d rather Rhule at Auburn than at Aggie.

why would Kiffin take the Auburn job? They're in the same division so the schedule wouldn't get any easier (in fact it's harder, with Auburn having to play UGA from the East every year, and Kiffin's has already raised Ole Miss to a legit team.

He's got big name recognition already, so he should be able to recruit at OM just as well as he could at Auburn.

how does Auburn have a better chance at that? Kiffin already has OM relevant and can recruit in the same territory that Auburn does. SEC West opponents are identical, and Auburn has a harder permanent SEC East opponent (UGA). Ole Miss has Vandy.

Maybe Auburn has more NIL money, and that's a legit issue, but I don't see jumping from OM to Auburn as a move up for Kiffin.

Harsin never stood a chance at Auburn

It was obvious by alumni/fans/booster/etc he wasn't near their top choice when his name was announced

Ole Miss doesn't have the booster support or money to consistently out-recruit Auburn, especially not with a comparable coach.

There is a reason Ole Miss has never won shite and Auburn has nearly 3 titles in 20 years.

Nebraska will never recruit to the elite level of Ohio State and other national powers that they compete with.

There is a difference between flashy recruiters and program builders. Elite coaches like Saban can do both, but few others can.

Nebraska needs to build their program like Wisconsin, or Utah or how Rhule did at Baylor.

Recruit, redshirt, develop.
