I'll agree with this.
However, I don't think that is all on him. Coaches need to protect the confidence of a young QB. That gameplan was fricking abysmal. So, so, so bad.

I get coaching kids to avoid turnovers.
But for years now, it has appeared that our QBs are coached to be TERRIFIED of turnovers.

I guess I can thank you for reminding me why I stopped frequenting this place years ago.
Dude shut the frick up. I was strictly talking about football then that arse hole starts with all these personal attacks that had nothing to do with football.

Still had the #4 pass d in the country. Don't care what you say.

A&M was terrible against the Run, but pretty good against the pass, and had a great pass rush. Gets in a QBs head. Same with Bama.
If A&M was batting passes id tend to believe it was defense but that wasnt the issue. The issue was accuracy.

Possibly, but LSU has a chance to make this a game a and Harris did what he did all season. Through high and it resulted in a pic. On a perfect play call.

Problem is I don't see any other schools on Saturdays playing to protect their qb like a kindergartener.
For fricks sake, when can we get a qb that goes out and plays like a chad kelly or Brandon Allen or will Grier or any other qb in division 1 that isn't at the bottom 10%?
I've watched la tech play 3-4 times this year.
It's embarrassing to watch that offensive football team play vs how we play.
Blows my mind.
Fact is most LSU fans are sick of having the feeling that we are in many cases superior to other team at every position on the field besides qb.
It's been a problem.
Remains a problem.

You saw LaTech with sorry arse Driskel. What does that tell you? Brandon Allen had his best year as a senior. Grier was on fricking SARMS he doesn't count bc he cheated. BH needs seasoning and a more user friendly philosophy on offense period. He is our guy next year deal with it.

I'll let you look up stats on your own so you won't embarrass yourself any further.

it's piss poor preparation by the coaches. I've never seen a more confused offense as a whole when it comes to a passing down. I'm talking pre-snap, confused looks to the sidelines, guys shuffling around like they don't know where to line up, more looks to the sidelines, repeat shuffle. It's like all they do in practice is rep after rep of handing the ball off and no passing plays get any sort of work. It's truly baffling....
Nailed it

Exactly ! Either our offensive staff continues to recruit the wrong QB for the wrong offensive scheme or vice-versa.....I don't know which it is, but it's absolutely killing the whole offense ! We've had YEARS to try and correct the issues with little tangible positive results. With few exceptions....our QB play has been marked with indecision, lack of leadership, confused looks to the sideline,mis-timed passes/runs,little "pocket-presence", etc., etc.,

Has anyone touched on the real reason of Harris' regression?
Guys, this is so simple, a babe from the womb could understand it.
It was obviously when Gordon and JD Moore got hurt. Everyone knows when your FB and 300 pound blocking TE gets hurt its gonna put more stress in the passing game because you're obviously not gonna be able to run the ball when those two most pivotal pieces of the offense go MIA.
Miles even alluded this himself and I trust him because he's the HC and he's a good man.

How many catches did Jeter have all season vs. how many attempts to him? I just don't buy it. Tons of his throws over the middle were either way behind or way infront of the receivers

Yea the guy who threw 9 TDs and 10 interceptions his junior year at florida. He is awesome. Those are some mind blowing stats. Then he goes to LaTech and lights it's up. What does that tell you? It's either competition, scheme, or most likey a little bit of both. Also he was in his senior year. Maybe it took until then for the light to come on. frick this merry go round bullshite. You have to let the kid play to develop or we are going to see the same cycle bullshite.

He played better than Harris vs MSU.
Harris should be given the opportunity to lose the job. But I'd certainly have a pretty quick hook on him if he isn't progressing.

He's baby feed the offense .. And has not been pressed to improve ..

LSU scrapped that in the USC game. Didn't really come back to it until the second half of tamu. Harris sucked running out of the spread as well. You guys just don't watch the games.
