Les always pulls out the stops for these big games. I honestly believe he has something in store for Bama.

LF will defintely get his touches, but I actually predict a ZM 2012 Bama type game called for BH.

Before the Bama game in 2012, I think ZM's highest # of pass attempts was 22. Against Bama, he threw it 35 times.

I see lots of throws early in the game on 2nd and medium and 2nd and short. Maybe lots of throws on first down too, but that depends on how well LF does with his first down touches.

I agree completely. That is about the right percent completions if our running game is effective and we are controlling the clock.

I say less than 20 pass attempts. lm will ride with the one that brought us here. LF and the OLINE.

If harris is passing 25 times that means lsu running game is faltering and they are playing from behind.

I think its possible with them stacking the box and the way Harris has been playing as of lately why not? They will try to make Harris win regardless.

Bama, unfortunately, doesn't have to stack the box like other teams. Their front 7 are filthy good.

Or the short passing game is flourishing and we keep hitting it until they do something to stop it.

Only passed more than 25 times once, so I'd say if he exceeds that here, then LSU is in trouble (i.e., likely well behind in the second half).

I averaged his completion percentage in LSU's three biggest games to date (MSU, AU, FLA).

Average in those three: 67.8%, which is roughly top 10 in the country-level proficiency. Add to that 0 INTs...

Why do people think this is what it means? Last year we ran 56 times vs Bama and passed 26 times. In 2012, we ran 49 times and threw 36 times.

In all likelihood, we run around 45-50 times and throw around 25-30 times.

This game we will see the inauguration of Air Fournette.

Jump pass from the wildcat...halfback pass...pass back to Harris...etc.

Saban will tell Kiffin "I'm a little tired of this crap!"
Kiffin will say "Nick, you're a little everything."

Where do you people get this shite? Just regurgitating shite you hear on ESPN (AKA TMZ Sports)?

Tennessee rushed for 100+ last week on Bama. Hurd was 18 rushes for 92 yards and a TD

Really? That is the example you want to use? UT ran for 132 yards against Bama. They ran for 254 against Florida while LSU only ran for 221 against Florida. Do you want to completely disregard the transitive properties and assume LSU is going to run for the 309 yard average no matter the opponent?

The transitive property means nothing in football. Alabama has a slightly better run defense than Florida. We still get 250 on the ground against them.

If Bama goes with a base D to stop the run, motioning LF or Guice out before he snap and making an LB or Safety play them 1 on 1 in space is the perfect way to punish them for it.

This doesn't force them to cover with a LB or safety unless they're in man.

Didn't AJ throw it more than 25 times last year? And we were not passing to come back. In fact we led late. I think Harris throws about 25 times. If he throws less than 20 then we're controlling the game.
