The NFL doesn't open camp until late July or about 4 months from now. LSU's camp doesn't open until early August, which is also about 4 months away.
Do you believe we stay shut in our homes for May, June, July? Do you believe our economy stays shut down for the same length of time?
At the end of April, part or all of our economy will reopen.
The NCAA will play all regular season football and playoff games.
The NFL will play all regular season and playoff games.
The Masters will be played.
The remainder of the NBA season and playoff games will be played.
Life will get back to normal very soon which includes going back to work and play. There is no way possible our economy stays shuts down after April 30th which includes NCAA football, NFL, PGA and NBA.

Things may get back to "normal" later this summer. But unless we get a solid vaccine, I'm worried about this bitch coming back late fall.

We’ll be better prepared. I doubt it’s a full stop on everything if that happens.

We won't have football this year, NCAA or NFL
Fruitcake pansies like you don't want football!

IF the season gets cancelled (which i doubt, it may be abridged, but not cancelled) they're going to give another year of eligibility to the players just like they did with the spring sports
At that point I just declare for the draft. It would be great to showcase your talent at an elite level but not when youre already 23 or 24.

Sad to think,
but I just don’t see things ramping up in 3 or
4 months.

Where’s the virus gonna go? All the social distancing just makes the majority of the people NOT get the virus right now. What happens between now and the fall that lets all of those people that haven’t gotten the virus become immune?? You guys are really confident about 100,000 people getting together to watch football when the majority of them have no immunity to the virus. You feel confident about letting student athletes travel in large numbers to other states when the virus is still out there? I’ll have what you guys are having bc I just don’t see how this virus just goes away without a vaccine.

Y’all seriously think this bullshite will last through the fall?

Just think had Keiland Williams:
1. Graduated HS at 18 years old.
2. Gone to Hargrave Military at 19
3. Redshirted at LSU AT 20
4. Gotten a 5th year at 25
That’s an old/seasoned set of calves.

How would that affect marquee non-conference games like Texas?
Texas will back out of the game.

The president met with the major sports commissioners today, and they are confident the football season starts on time, with fans in the stands.

Yeah, our defense is one or two players away from being great. He wants to prove himself at D 1 for NFL draft. He's smart, got size, experience, gonna play with his hair on fire. Great get for Coach O. For the one year haters, Cam Newton played one year, got a Natty. So there's that. Chess game, Coach O is winning.
