Are we slumping or is the level of pitching and competition higher these past four games? Agreed, 2 runs per game won't cut it, but no one is going to be scoring 6 runs per game from here on out. Defense and pitching become increasingly important as we move ahead.

I'm not to worried about our hitting, we have a great offense and we have been hitting the ball pretty hard, just recently they have found gloves.

What I'm excited about is our pitching. Our staff has a combined 1.61 ERA in the post season. You cannot forget that includes two games against a team who batted as a team over .300 all year. Our pitching may be playing the best it has been all year. If this continues we will be a very scary team in Omaha.

Why did you intentionally leave out a game? Didn't fit your post idea? Add the first game last week and the truth produces a different statistic.

How would you like to be laying in a hotel bed knowing you 5 hit a team and it wasn't good enough?Jared shoves it up their arse tonight and off to Omaha we go!

Maybe it's because of the caliber of pitching they've faced.

I get what you are saying but Lehigh may be the worst team to ever make a regional

Uncw and ull don't have arms quite as good as what the tigers saw from some of the better sec teams. They just seem to be in a bit of an offensive rut lately and hopefully the homer by schiambra will ignite them. They actually have hit well other than last night just lack some key hits in clutch situations.

Of course you are concerned. You are a rantard. Rantards are always "concerned" whenever LSU wins. You are too negative minded to allow yourself to celebrate an LSU victory.
Sad
Sad
Sad
As for me

Since that's worked so well for us in the past. Do you not remember the warning track power in our last visit there?

Thread started out by what looks to be a kid, that should have posted water is wet, etc. Everyone knows we are currently struggling with the bat.

Thread does get some decent responses so not a complete waste....and THEN........

Yes, the SEC was a cakewalk compared to what LSU has seen so far in the Regional and Super. No doubt about it, the level of competition has ramped up significantly from what LSU was seeing in the regular season from the SEC. LOL Seriously, did you even think before posting?

TCU and Florida say hello, as well as a couple other teams. This ALSO, is false.

You have outdone yourself with this reply.

Seriously, do you guys just lay around and try and think of dumb shite to post. I'm assuming you think the SEC was weak this year or what? There needs to be a button we must sign off on before posting, that acknowledges that you have "thought your post through before posting it". LOL...I kid, but seriously.

Why should he shut up? It's a legitimate concern.

Opponents in those 4 games: Florida 2 UNCW 0, 0 and ULL 3.

The last 3 games have been at the Box. Not exactly a park where HRs go to die, as TD Ameritraade is.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned about the offense...but it's a very good sign that the Tigers are still winning in spite of it.

Fricking LSU fans. Never change.

Can't even enjoy a WIN without griping, complaining, and being "concerned." There's always a fault to find.

I understand where the OP is coming from.
The only optimistic perspective I can think of is that the bats will get hot at the CWS.
Florida's bats are hot right now but that can change quick in Omaha.

Because it is baseball. Just how the game goes sometimes. See Arkansas and Missouri State series. There is always a bit of luck involved with any base hit.
