Look, I am thrilled we won, and am confident we will eventually win the series. But, if you throw out the Lehigh game which is a game against scrubs, these are our runs the last 4 games:

Florida: 1
UNCC: 2
UNCC: 2
ULL: 4

That's 9 runs in 4 games, 2.25 per game. Our great offense has been pitiful lately. If this does not improve we will be out very quickly in Omaha, assuming we get there.

Geaux Tigers and flame away.

No flame, our offense has to get on track if we expect to make a run at the championship.

Have we lost yet? I don't care if we win every game by one run. Of course some games are gonna be close. It's the freakin' playoffs!

Your assessment is spot on but the baseball mafia will crucifie you. The thing I notice most is that we simply sleep walk through games. A early run or two then bam 14 straight retired........but they keep winning so go Tigers.

Your knowledge of college baseball can be best described by your use of UNCC.

Psssst! It was Wilmington.....not Charlotte

That walkoff homerun can easily be the spark this offense needs to get going again. Dont doubt this team, they have found ways to win all year long.

The offense hasn't been playing great but we hit many balls hard last night. They just found gloves, our offense could explode at any time.

Their 3rd baseman also made a couple of great plays to save runs for them. If he doesn't make that diving stop against Hale then we have a few more runs on them.

Are we slumping or is the level of pitching and competition higher these past four games? Agreed, 2 runs per game won't cut it, but no one is going to be scoring 6 runs per game from here on out. Defense and pitching become increasingly important as we move ahead.
