Doesn’t LSU have a compliance Dept??

Isn’t this something that should have been looked into and come to a resolution when Hailey transferred here??

Do you think they didn't? Do you think there wasn't already a resolution on this?

Some guy that covers Clemson brought it up and has everyone aflutter.

LSU already knows what the result is

Hunt and Charlie definitely acted like LSU and SEC did not know about this

Why is it such a big story with BR media then? If it was resolved then One call to lsu compliance by a br media member and this story is over.

Of course. What duty has the NCAA to inform a school of a violation that could materially affect said institution. Geezus

Seems like it wasn’t even on the table before today. Somebody likely tipped off the NCAA earlier this week.

Somebody?

It was 1000% Clemson

Because our media is a joke.

Brian Kelly keeps shite under wraps...and for good reason. Do we want to let Clemson know our stud transfer safety is out? Let them find out first play and alter their gameplay on the run. Why does the media act so entitled about knowing stuff?

IF Clemson's media asks Dabo a question, he either ignores it or gives the most cryptic answer. They could have 2 OL out but no one even has close to a clue except what Dabo wants you to know...because that is part of the game. The fans and opposing teams don't need to know everything inside your building.

You think LSU didn't know they got ejected from a game?

They knew. They watched a shitload of film on these guys. You think this didn't come up?

I don’t think they knew he may have been ejected for something different from what the box score says, no

I don't think LSU has gotten a clear answer on that from the NCAA yet or it seems like we would already know the verdict.

I dont understand how the NCAA cannot give a clear answer. There is ZERO reason why this shouldn't be answered in a day or two. The NCAA operates like they have 5 employees. This is why the NCAA is a joke.

Why would they? Who would even look into that? That’s way beyond due dilligence.

“This official ruling in the game notes may not be accurate”. Really?

Its their job. They looked into it. They called the conference and officiating and got clarification from the NCAA before they even offered.

If they didn't then the issue wouldn't be the suspensions but that gross incompetence of them.

So did they do it, or are they unbelievably incompetent?

Play him. NCAA is toothless

But the refs aren't, and under the rules, if a team plays a suspended player, they can rule the game a forfeit. Are you willing to take that chance with any refs? They get paid and go home early.

They can flag the team with an unsportsmanlike just for having him on the sidelines.

By all accounts, this isn’t accurate

Strongly disagree. There’s a checklist you go through- academics, injury, character, eligibility, etc. Scanning box scores for potential erroneous reports isn’t on that.
