Where has anyone seen anything about I being interested in coaching dl? He is interested in DC, that's as low as he would accept, IMO

Haley could leave for a school other than a&m.
Also, if its such a dilemma. Just fire brick. His position group has been underperforming. Im not even sure why we tried to extend him.

IMO, the Brick/Ed O thing is the hold up. As soon as that is figured out...I bet we get Clancy and Ed.
Those worried about losing recruits because Brick leaves...ask yourselves:
1. Is Brick a better recruiter than Ed?
2. Is Brick a better DL coach with a better resume than Ed O?
I think the answers are clear there. You don't not pull the trigger because of one 4 star DE from TN...particularly in Jan with a month to go before signing day. Ed O may flip 3 guys better than him between now and then.
Also...next year is the important one for DL. In addition our DL next season is already getting a big boost from new blood in Trey L. and Valentine.

Did anyone consider maybe the problem is Coach O doesn't want to be just dline coach or he wants some crazy number of money? Like more than Frank.
