Remember when he did a little shrug and laugh towards the crowd after he took off on a short scramble against LA Tech or someone like that?

He thought he was gonna be such hot shite tihs year. Then he started the injury routine when he couldn't move the offense at all.

Pathetic isn’t it?

But he’s just a “kid” trying his “best.”

3.4 mil to be the worst starting QB in the SEC

I feel like I can do this for half the price.

I also appreciate the fact he came back this year. He could have left last year and he chose to come play one more year. The guy loves LSU
Nuss didn't decide to come back this year because he "loves LSU."

It was a business decision. He made millions in NIL this year, and there was no guarantee about his NFL draft position or contract.

So he came back to pocket the guaranteed cash. Very simple.

I've never been a fan of Nuss. He was severely overrated last year. But have you only been a fan since 2019 or something? This is ridiculous.

Shoug was drafted early 2nd. $10.8M guaranteed contract for 4 years.
Gabriel round 3. 4 years $6.2M. Only his $1.16M signing bonus is guaranteed.
Shedeur round 5. 4 years $4.6M. Only his $447k signing bonus is guaranteed.

If he did in fact get $3M+ in NIL, he absolutely made the right move.

and there's no way we can keep going this route. I don't understand how individuals can give away their money to college athletes, especially incoming freshman. You can't keep expecting donors to pay the salaries of these now professional athletes.

That is why they had to play him. How pissed would donors be if their million dollar investment sat the bench.

You think they are happier with how things transpired instead?

Season tick holder for 25 years. Nuss is just so frustrating to watch. I was there for the Lee, Jefferson ,Harris years. They were never paid millions. Nuss was. Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and my opinion is that Nuss is the worst quarterback in LSU history.

Yes, everyone has opinions, and opinions can also be retarded. I've been following LSU football a long time too, and he's not even close to the worst. Brandon Harris, Anthony Jennings, Marcus Randall, Jamie Howard, Chad Loup, TJ Finley, Jordan Jefferson, Jarrett Lee, and Josh Booty were all worse. And that's just me stopping at 1990 and not even getting into arguments about the supporting cast having an effect.

Here is what is going on. People read all the preseason headlines that Nuss was one of the favorites to win the Heisman and possibly going 1:1 in the draft. So every opinion they have now is based on his performance relative to how the media hyped him up, not based on what he has actually done on the field relative to other QBs we've had.

Anyone saying he's the worst QB in LSU history is either extremely irrational, has the memory of a goldfish, or doesn't understand what they're watching every Saturday.

No he's not the worst QB in LSU history. That's idiotic, period.
