I'm somewhat of a like mind with the OP for different considerations.
For the superstitious among us, you don't want to get struck down by Murphy's Law - in this case because we were looking ahead to Tennie - or have KARMA come up and bite us on the arse because we allowed prevailing winds to take us past our immediate opponent. (basically the same thing)
Obviously, these are said tongue in cheek and aren't factors in the LSU locker room but for crissakes can we have a little fun with it?
However, I do have no doubt that should we somehow lose on Saturday that the same folks who've posted here will be among the first to bitch and moan that the team wasn't focused because of all the fallout about the 11AM start vs the Charlie Daniels Band...

You know something, what we say and think has absolutely nothing to do with how the team plays during the game.
If I type we are going 12-0 or 6-6 it does not matter. Its an opinion only.
