Guidry not “the man” anymore

The book on Guidry has been out for a while.

Lay off the hammer and sit dead red. He is not commanding the fastball and it will eventually leak back over the heart of the plate where SEC hitters will feast.

Would not be shocked if he’s in portal
Didn’t even throw against Nicholls
12 innings all year

Yep a fast ball that barely hits 90 and leaks over the middle of the plate is a problem. If he was hitting his spots with it then he would be able to use his slider and curve and be effective again.

If he could stay healthy and maybe put on some muscle maybe he could gain some mph on his fastball

Also lingering back issues kept him from playing SS last Summer for the Rougarou

When he can’t spot his fastball he gets in trouble and goes to a get me over breaking ball for a strike. Teams can either sit fastball and get a walk or sit curve and crush it.

we were up 5 runs.

Thats why we went to Little and not Herring.

Little when he throws strikes is a good pitcher.

The kid started over Jackson Holliday for team USA two years ago, his bat would’ve came around. This is on coaching, should’ve left him at SS.
