I can see Guice being a better college athlete bc of agility, but there is no way Guice is a better overall athlete or NFL prospect.

Guice is scary good and I think he had some insane runs several times this year that we didn't see so much from Fournette in his freshman year except in the Notre dame game.

Guice has better initial quickness, creation ability, and elusiveness so he will be much needed against a team like Bama. Leonard struggles a bit when the OL is not winning the battle.

This is maybe the one time when I hope LF is reading the rant. You're right, Lester, kings do king things. I expect he'll put this notion to rest at Lambeau Field.

I've been saying that "LSU has the best running back in the nation not named Fournette" since early last season. This is my favorite 1-2 punch LSU backfield ever. 2016-2017 is gonna be a real good year.

Last year BOTH were true beast! No doubt both are great in my mind.
Last year LF was better.
But you can look at it this way as well, Last year DG was better than LF was as a freshman!
Think about that. WOW!!!
LSU has had some really good RB's over the years. Make that GREAT RB's. These two guys are two of the best EVER.

Nice luxury to have. Fournette is once in a decade great. I could see guice finishing with a higher ypc this season but fournette is the horse. This reminds me of tofield and Williams but both being much more talented

You laid the foundation for a solid argument, then you went and said that. Regardless of who comes out on top (statistically it will certainly be LF) they're too different in running style for you to be able to say he would "clearly" be better.
From a pure athleticism/build standpoint, Leonard has the edge.

Guice is just as entertaining to watch. He is extremely talented, but definitely not better. All I know is that we are spoiled.
