Looks like the editor told the reporter to get me an article ASAP on Guice even if you have to go all the way back to his high school days.

So many holes in that story I don't know where to begin.
It's like they wrote an article and then tried to fill in the blanks.
Anytime you have an article with two sources it means they have nothing and no one wants to take ownership.
ESPN would be more credible than the words USA Today has come up with in this.

It's not the best article but given what was said on this board, on top of all the other shite he is dealing with, I'm inclined to believe there's an awful lot of smoke.

Overall the report is much more damning on LSU’s title IX office and tennis coach
ding ding ding

Coach Os name was put in there purely for clickbait

He was not the coach during either incident, and the story of him approaching the player is somewhat ridiculous

But Lester said O is a bad man.

I remember when Guice was getting national attention because he’d had some big games and tv was doing all this stuff about his tough upbringing and dad in jail etc. I was talking to some of the students at a tailgate and they told me the other side. They said he has a bad rep off the field. Women, partying etc.

I kinda suspected it but hoped it wasn’t true

Nope

I think every single P5 football coach buries their head because they know they have pieces of shite on their team

Once again, I am specifically talking about this case. I don’t think O or any coach is an angel with only choir boys on their team

Even better

The date on the first story wasn’t clear

After Baylor, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, etc you are incredibly naive to not at least be a little worried that there is more here than just Guice's dealings.

It says “early 2016” I think. And mentions Guice was a freshman

So puts it around March of 2016

Honestly do we really believe anything the media puts out anymore? Not saying it didn't happen but facts are hard to come by in today's media.

For fricks sake he got arrested a WEEK AGO. Are you that blind to facts?

That strains imagination. Hard to believe Orgeron would say or even think that! If he did, it’s indefensible

If O was under the impression that said redshirt was dating a cleat chaser who slept with Guice, and there was animosity between the two, it seems like a life lesson to impart. Coach O’s been in locker rooms his whole life and some women chasing soon to be rich athletes do jump from pay check to pay check. Clearly not the case here, but some women are completely self-serving.

Exactly what “facts” does that show?

Look, I have seen and heard so much smoke about Guice and the football team from the end of the Miles tenure as it relates to the LSU women’s tennis team that I know there is some real fire there

But I have also only ever heard from one side, so I’m sure I am getting not exactly the entire perfect truth

And I’m sure whatever response LSU puts out wont also be the entire perfect truth.

And yet LSU booted Peter Parrish who is accusing of LSU not giving him his due process

Why would you sue NCAA and not LSU
In late June, the former tennis player joined seven other women in a lawsuit against the NCAA, seeking damages for sexual assaults they say they suffered at the hands of male athletes. The lawsuit was originally filed in April in federal court, then refiled in May in state court in Ingham County, Michigan.

He (or les miles or joe alleva) is not the arbiter of what is assault and what isn't. That is the whole problem here.

I actually believe he did some of these things while at LSU. But both girls were drunk and on drugs at the time, didn't tell law enforcement, bring it up 4 years later, and choose to remain anonymous.

It's really hard to hold someone criminally accountable in that situation.
