However, they are talented enough that they were the preseason favorites to be national champions. The talent is there.

UGA was 16th in the country in rushing defense prior to their game against us...and now they are 41st.

Then what does your D do? I mean UGa is rated 28th in the country compared to your 36th and that is after the 438 yards we put on them. In fact if you factor out the GT game from their stats, their rushing D is right there with yours. Needless to say they played 'Bama and UF also. They played a tougher OOC schedule since they played us and ASU (2 BCS teams). In fact Sagarin ranks their schedule 14th toughest compared to 52nd for you.

For those that are interested....here is a video comp put together by Bird Dog that shows the evolution of PJ's offense from back in the Hawaii and Ga Southern days. You will see what he is talking about when he can send 4 WR vertical out of the same base formation. You will notice a couple where he fakes to the BB, then the two AB' and two WR's essentially all fire out vertically down the sidelines and hashes.
Also of note.....the WR's blocking all the way down field on running plays.

Trust me...we do not run it that good yet. You guys should not have this much to worry about. It will be a battle on December 31.

Don't listen to hiveredtech. GT only runs one play and it's called the triple option. Basically the QB either hands it off to the fullback up the middle, keeps it, or pitches it out to the running back. That's all we do.

Plain and simple. You know it's coming, but there's nothing you can do about it. Just ask Georgia.

.... Said the Spider to the Fly.

I will be surprised if we (Tech) wins the game. You have a ton more talent and we are young and very very thin.

I am proud of our boys for making it the game- will be there to support him- but I expect to be sick of hearing the LSU Band and some it's high class fans before the game is over. (My mom went to LSU so I know I speak of :) )

I am not asking you to listen to me...I am giving links to instructional videos by PJ himself....and to highlight films. I guess you are just not paying attemtion...the TO is only run about 20% of the plays.

Check out this link to an interview with his staff...during the first two games this year we ran the TO a combined 15 times.

LINK

A lot of how much it is run depends on how well Paul Johnson thinks the players are reading, blocking, anc just "clicking" in general. If not, the place the ball is going is pre-determined....plus throw in the mid-line, rocket sweep, etc. etc.

Is that true? I think LSU ran that under Lou Tepper. Dammit! Bring those F-backs in as well!

You'll see a 3-4 from us as about as much as you'll see the run-n-shoot from GT, if that helps any.

Sarcasm.
