There are enough facts in evidence to say he struggles with good pitching. And by good pitching I mean not only the pitch but the location. He gets worked down and away, gets 2 strikes then a chin high fastball. Strikeout.

Jones can hit for average - and should. When he's getting on base w singles and doubles the Tigers are legit every inning and difficult to beat. He can lay off the high heat and curve ball b.s. out of the zone if he tries to NOT hit a home run. Good home run hitters are patient and selective EVERY at bat. He'll be o.k. once he figures that out. Seen enough of the "swing and miss Jones" over the years. He needs to turn the corner NOW. IMHO Hope he does.

Now that you say that, I feel positive they're the same person. It's not very likely to have two different people be that extreme in their negativity. Maybe for football where we have over a thousand posters but in baseball you're talking about a couple hundred daily baseball posters
