He simply gave his opinion of the situation. You're being melodramatic.

He's not a reporter. He's an analyst.

Four years.

Five years ago LSU won the SEC and Alabama lost at home.

The end of game prevent by chavis against them in 12' cost us a nc. In 2014, his end of game defense cost LSU another win. Even with 21-0, win those two, which they could and should have, and there is a completely different narrative today.

Greg McElroy is one of the few who understands and can articulate offensive philosophy on the the network. He explained the limited changes that LSU could make on the "Miles offense" to make it successful, without benefit of off season practice. (Spring Practice) That is what "O" did and it worked.

I'm hoping that Tennessee can shut up Finebaum and crew by beating Bama. Until Bama is beaten, just shut up and endure the hype or turn it off.

His point on Bama sounds pretty valid. LSU hasn't done shite vs them so why should anyone think that'll change?

LSU's chances of beating bama are totally irrelevant to the situation.

HOT TAKE: Greg McElroy is a much better analyst than Marcus Spears

I disagree. They're both good analysts. Marcus brings a lot of energy and fun to the set, too.

The solution is quite simple... prove them wrong.

Yeah fun is all good, but when it comes to content and information, McElroy surpasses Spears

ESPN began to suck when they replaced sports with SJW agenda pushing.

Bama bias melts through that thick skin. Listened to the nut this am on sirius, totally misinformed of the events, although callers have continuosly explained LSU's position.

I don't think that's true. Maybe on some topics and some teams, whereas on other topics and teams, Marcus may have more insight. But it's unnecessary to turn this into a one-over-the-other scenario.

They complement each other well.

Bama is a fricking machine

----------------------------------------------------

Different sport and different times.

Once upon a time in NCAA Basketball, UCLA was the machine. Bruins ranked number 1. Number 2 was USC. Only UCLA could go to the NCAA tournament. USC would go to and win the NIT.

Good thing that we no longer live in a world where only the conference champion can be represented in post-season "prime time" events. I still count the New Years Day Bowl games as being "prime time". Until the playoffs get to eight teams, there is still enough human error in selection to not dismiss those just outside the playoff.

McElroy is still butthurt about the 2010 beating we gave him in Tiger Stadium, but he is pretty good at his job. I really like his radio show.

He just predicted us to go 2-3 in our last 5 games, Spears said 3-2 or 4-1

I could believe either. Hope spears is correct. After the Ole Miss game it will be a lot more predictable. If we lose that one we may lose the rest.

When he first started as sports commentator I really didn't like him cause he was a Bama Homer and everything was Bama this and Bama that but he has grown some as a sports commentator and I kind of like him. Very knowledgeable and I think does a great job.
