Just had the SEC Network on, and he's on there acting like a whiney-arse, butt-hurt bitch because LSU is hosting the game and then goes further to get his personal dig in on LSU not even having a chance to get to the SEC Championship game because they have to get by 'Bama and they haven't been able to for five years so why should anyone expect they would this year?

Man, is he a puss! I suddenly remembered why I don't watch ESPN unless there's a game on to see. Because it sucks because they hire monotone, tone-deaf, has-been, muscle-brained, limp-dicks like McElroy.

McElroy has become one of my favorites.

In the end, LSU is in control of their own destiny.

Win out and it'll shut them all up

I don't understand why he had to let his personal feelings get to front and center about the game. He acts as if he was personally affected by it and then had to insult LSU in the process. frick him as a sportscaster you might think he's good, but as a person, he's got some thorn in butt over LSU and shouldn't let it affect him like that.

You do understand that ever ESPN analyst isn't an LSU homer right? It's pretty sad that Greg fricking McElroy's opinion of lsu made you this mad

You aren't honestly expecting LSU to win that game right? I'm hoping like hell they do, but for an analyst to objectively think LSU has a slim shot? Sounds reasonable.

McElroy is a good analyst.

You're an awful poster.

So, it's you guys opinion that a sportscaster should have a hissy-fit and wear his feelings on his sleeves? That's hardly being an objective reporter.

You shouldt assume anything and LSU should not lose out for UF's ineptitude, but LSU has been Bama's bitch until we break the cycle

Don't be so sensitive. The man has a right to voice his opinion--that's kind of his job. And just because someone doesn't constantly praise LSU it doesn't mean they're awful. Some of you homers need to learn a little objectivity. Greg's good at what he does.

If he feels strongly about it, yep. He's a commentator. He comments. It's what he does.

There's a difference between reporter and commentator. Dari Nowkah is a reporter. If someone like him said what Greg said then I'd have a problem with it since it's not his job--he's only supposed to ask the questions. Greg is supposed to answer them.

He hardly threw a hissy fit. He said the game was scheduled to be played in Gainesville and should be played there. He said its unlikely LSU runs the table. Well they are 4-2. Most would say that's unlikely but u make it sound like he just bitch slapped the whole program. He never said one derogatory remark about LSU.

LSU fan logic= any sports reporter who doesn't have anything nice to say about LSU is terrible and shouldn't be an analyst.

I agree with the sentiment that he's not a reporter, he's closer to being a talking head or analyst. The argument that it won't matter, they haven't beaten Bama does sound homerish but he's a Bama homer so what do you want?

So long as they balance him out with a Booger or someone else it makes for good television. He's not just spouting off like an idiot (MW on PTI for example).

I like Greg McElroy and most of the people on SEC Network..

I can't stand most of ESPN's day time personalities though.. so I stopped watching ESPN..

He was absolutely outstanding in talking about LSU firing Miles and when Coach O was introduced.

I have really enjoyed Greg McElroy as well as most of the personalities on The SEC Network. He's actually very brilliant and not bias whatsoever!

I can't stand ESPN though, other than their live sporting events. SEC Network is pretty cool though because they aren't pushing certain agendas.. Not yet at least.
