How do you he hadnt done it privately? He did pay the kids medical bills.

None of the national media are reporting that Miles did say he will face additional internal punishment. Miles decided not to say what that punishment will be. I think he chose to do that b/c he wanted TCU to have to gameplan for Hill. If he comes out and say Hill will be suspended for the first three games of the season, well that's one less thing TCU will have to worry about. I actually like the mind game he's playing with the opponents.
I think Hill will be suspend for at least two games at minimum.

Freakin hack.
Miles stood behind no one.
Mile's putting the issue to a vote was done solely to be sure that the team wanted him back. Believe it or not, teams do kick bad teammates off. I forget who it was (Damien James maybe), but there was a DB/weak linebacker back in the Dinardo years who was kicked off the team form messing with other player's girlfiends. It happens.
Additionally, I missed the part about the freshmen chick in HS being "pressured". Note to Greg.....freshmen chicks dig senior tailbacks. Sometimes, they even suck their dicks NSA, even if a friend gets to join in.
Really dude. GFY.

I don't understand why the National Media is acting like Les Miles decided to let Derrick Todd Lee back on the team.
Do they not remember when Miles made a decision that almost cost him his job in 08 by kicking Ryan Perriloux off the team and subsequently ushering in the worst era of Quaterback play LSU had ever seen?

Gregg Doyel is such a douchebag. What's with his vendetta for Jeremy Hill? Wonder what he'll say when Hill goes beast mode this season...

He uses some flowery language paint Hill as some sort of menacing beast.
Where are reports that Hill's encounter with his classmate was anything less than mutual?
He then makes it seem as if Hill walked up behind a random guy and punched him for no reason.
I'm not justifying Hill's actions in either instance, but I am getting tired of people twisting words to push a hateful agenda.
It's sad really. It truly was a lose-lose situation for Miles.

He put the future of Jeremy Hill into the hands of Jeremy Hill's teammates. You're not going to believe this, but those big-hearted LSU teammates decided to give Hill a third chance to stop being a vicious predator.
Funny thing...this reads like a goodly number of "LSU Fans" on this board.

There have been two separate instances where Miles kicked the best player off the team.
Both had more shots that Hill.

a 3rd chance? wouldnt this be his second ?
after reading this guy is a POS writer and act like he killed someone...funny how the suspected murders in the nfl dont get this much publicity after the court systems process is done.

My favorite part is people like Doyell who if Miles would have booted Hill, would be saying he should be fired mid way through the season when we would have no healthy running backs if they all get hurt. Hypocrisy at its best.

Doyel is a hack, he's worse than skip Bayless bc he doesn't even have positive trolls like Bayless does with tebow. Anyone who reads any article he writes is a moron for helping him stay in business.

Guilbeau's is worse, but at least an entertaining read
Posted on 8/6/13 at 8:46 am to cameroncrazy2304
Hill got some action from a freshman in high school and got in a bar fight.
I imagine most guys who did these two things didn't get a criminal record.
