Friday night dinner at Parrains, Saturday lunch at Chimes, catch the band coming down the hill an hour before the game. Get to the stadium early afternoon. You will enjoy the day and being in the stadium once it cools off. You won't enjoy the score of the game but you already know that. Hope you and OP have a fun visit.

This LSU team is not that LSU team.
The two aren’t comparable at all.
GSU doesn’t have the depth or talent to keep up with LSU. I think you know this.

Yes. Troy fans know their place in the college football world. Maybe one day GSU can get on their level. Probably not, but you never know?

The same could be said about LSU as well. If y'all were getting us in the middle of the season, there may be a chance of a letdown. But, it won't happen in the first game of the season. Plus the loss to Troy hurts GSU because the guys that were on the team then won't let this team have another letdown like that.

I do wish we were getting LSU after GSUs 4th game so we could work the kinks out and not letting LSU have 2 weeks to prepare for us.
Still LSU is GSUs first game. It doesn't matter about your players remembering Troy. GSU is bringing a totally different offense and defense!
