Welcome.

One question, why does your school think they are too good for our head coach, baw?? Sounds like it was his dream job.

Other than LSU of course. And Ole Miss. And USC. And Miami probably.

"First of all, my days at Syracuse were fantastic," Orgeron said during a telephone conversation. "I learned a lot under Coach (Paul) Pasqualoni.

I know Coach (Dick) MacPherson and a lot of ex-players and a lot of players who are there now. "I have a lot of respect for Syracuse. Great private school, great education, great tradition.

So, obviously, my interest would be very high. I'd be highly interested in getting that job. I think it would be a wonderful opportunity to go back there."

If you're looking for great Italian food I recommend Gino's just off College Dr.on Constitution, which by the way is not near the college. It is just off I-10 ,College Dr. exit.Hope you have a great experience.I encourage you to spend 3-4 hours at least on game day walking around and visiting the tailgaters.Wear your colors and you'll get all you want to eat and drink.

Welcome, I will do my part to ensure that you guys are treated as well as we were when we made the trip. It was one of my favorite road trips, and we'll be visiting upstate NY again, because of the experience.

I think for best seafood, I like Parrains; however, for a more game day atmosphere I prefer Chimes, but Walk Ons has really stepped it up a notch and it's also very convenient to campus. The tailgating on the parade grounds will be very Greek and a high amount of college kids, but it's a very nice area to visit. Have fun.

Ruffinos for dinner
Chimes or walkons for lunch on game day.

Add Parrain's, Juban's, Gallatoire's for dinner Friday night before. Also, hit up brunch Sunday before you go home. Chime's, Mason's Grill, Bistro Byronz is good for that.

Don't sit on row 10,

And as s Tiger fan who went to Syracuse, Thxs for the hospitality and I hope you enjoy your trip to BR.

Try Ruffino's for some buzz the Friday night before the game. Get reservations.

Thursday Gino's has Italian and live music. Reservation required and ask for the bar area.

The Chimes for casual fare. The crayfish etoufee' is very good.

Enjoy the visit and the experience! I echo everyone else about seating - r0w 60>>>>row 10. A few more thoughts:

Don't put away those summer clothes after Labor Day - they'll come in handy in BR

About restaurant - there isn't a single can't miss restaurant and there are several good ones. Chimes and Parrain's (same ownership) for the classic and fairly casual Louisiana/Cajun dishes. Acme Oyster House is an offshoot of the New Orleans original, with a similar menu. If you want to take it upscale a bit, I like Mansur's on the Boulevard.

There's a good chance the game will be at night - I hope it is. Night football is what Tiger Stadium is all about. Not as hot and you'll have more time to enjoy the pregame atmosphere.

Definitely row 60. The first several rows behind the bench have terrible views. The field isn't sunk below the level of the stands.

Ruffino's for dinner is a must.
Chimes is good and you can walk right of the gates of that side of campus and be there in like 1 minute. So great location. It will be packed.

Roux 61 is a good one too. Cheaper than Lagniappe may be less wait than Mike Andersons and Parrains on Gameday.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the southern hospitality.

My biggest takeaways:
-Don't sit too close to the field.
-Don't sit near Hot Carl.
-Chimes is awesome.
-Whataburger isn't.
-It's going to be hot.
-People in the South are more welcoming to strangers than people in the North.

And to the point above regarding bars not opening early enough in Syracuse for LSU fans, you're absolutely correct. We should have had our act together better.

My group most certainly enjoyed the game in your fine city. Hospitality was fantastic.

I have 3 favorite restaurants: Mansurs on the Boulevard, Gallatoires Bistro and Sullivans. Can't go wrong at any of them.

Please come and enjoy a game weekend in Baton Rouge. Unbeatable!

Stop by Tony's Seafood on the way into town to try some Boudin balls. They are great and its a cool experience for an out of towner.

Go to Chimes for gameday. Great food and beer.

We go to Parrains Friday night but the other suggestions are great also.

Roberto's. But it isn't very close to campus.

Not sure if you've seen this yet, but no question go with Row 60.
