Being a racist and not supporting a player who wears a diamond necklace emblazoned with your rivals logo are two different things

Flynn looked awesome.
Flynn looked great, and #81 dropped about 4 balls himself. There was definitely more than two drops in that game. Flynn got no help from the O-Line and his receivers.

frick jamarcus. I have said this all along. Matt Flynn was the better QB and should have started all along. We could have won 2 championships in a row had he started after the 05 started when MATT FLYNN dominated against the canes.

Flynn's rehearsal was pretty damn good. Probably earned him some future money and a possible chance to start, somewhere.

The necklace was for BAMA Boyz records. There's more a back-story to it than "just a rivals logo".

he definitely opened up the eyes of a lot of GM's out there, forcing them to consider aquiring him rather than draft a QB.

You do realize we had the exact same record in Jamarcus' last season as we did the next season with MF when we won the NC? right? Just because we got extremely lucky and got into the game, it doesnt make Flynn a better QB at LSU than Russell

That wasn't the arguement. If you remember, anyone who thought that Flynn should have been given an opportuntity was labled a racist or an idiot.
The same JR fans were predicting an All Pro season for JR by his third year.
JR and Flynn by their performance on and off the field have given us a good indication who were the racist idiots.

It was the argument to the guy i was responding to, He said we would have had back to back championships if we had started Flynn in 2006. I pointed out that we had the same record both seasons and just got the luck of the bounce in 2007 as opposed to 2006.
