If we had all the same players and coaches as last year (including Eaux, Jeaux Burrow, and Jeaux Brady), but we swap out Aranda for Beaux Pelini, do you still think we would be the greatest team in the history of all college sports?

Probably one of the 90s LSU baseball team or one of Kentucky’s basketball teams.

No. Losing those two coaches was key to our downfall. If we had those coaches with this years team the narrative is completely different. Still got a loaded roster.....

The defensive personnel was definitely better. Add Delpit, Vincent, Queen,Phillips, Divinity,Shelvin, Fulton, Lawrence and it's tough to imagine them not being at least a solid defense. You'd have huge upgrades at all 3 levels.

UCONN women’s basketball team, you could probably pick a few different years

We built the defense for Aranda’s scheme not Bo’s.

No would be fine but I’d still want aranda.

That really only matters for the front 7. I think you could manage a better 4-3 defense with last year's personnel. Shelvin and the superior linebacker talent alone would make things work.

Sure but I’d still want the best fit.

Sure. I just think it could be worked out to where we would have fielded a solid enough defense to still win it all with a 4-3 scheme
