Top 2 should be Auburn:2004 and LSU:2011

2013 Auburn should not be on that list.

Unless the list is ranking the luckiest SEC teams to not win a title.

They were two fluke miracle plays away from finishing 9-3.

LSU beat Auburn like a drum in 13, they weren’t that good.

Will always and forever blame that OkieSt kicker for missing the field goal, giving Bama the mulligan.

I suppose you are talking about a National Championship because LSU won the SEC Title in 2011.

Didn’t they win the SEC title and make it to the NC game only to barely lose?????? Makes my list. Fluke plays happen every year in college football for every team....... 1980 Lindsey Scott’s catch against FLA. you guys won the NC but would not have made it there without that play. FACT.

I truly believe that field goal was good. I have watched that thing 1000000 times. It was good. LSU should have played okiest and dick stomped them...

So the Big 12 refs screwed one of their own teams just so Bama could get to the title game?????????

Comparing the Lindsey Scott catch-and-run in 1980 against Auburn's crazy-arse fluke plays in 2013 is asinine.

They got shellacked by LSU and they should've lost to UGA, thereby missing out on the SECCG.

They were a good team, but definitely not one of the "best SEC teams in history to not win a title." There are lots of teams I'd put before 2013 Auburn.

No, they were just that inept. Year after year in college and the NFL, it’s become fairly evident that officials are either retarded or informed to sway games.

No, the big 12s ref just suck a-hole and screwed their own team from playing in the national championship game due to their own incompetence. Because they suck. At their job.

You may have missed my first, out of two, sentences. I’ll repeat: they were inept.

quote:

Definition of inept
1 : generally incompetent : BUNGLING inept leadership
2 : lacking in fitness or aptitude : UNFIT inept at sports
3 : not suitable to the time, place, or occasion : inappropriate often to an absurd degree an inept metaphor
4 : lacking sense or reason : FOOLISH

This is an absolutely atrocious list. 2007 Missouri was NOT an SEC team. They were in the Big 12 at the time and lost to Oklahoma twice. You can’t count a Big 12 team in the list of greatest SEC teams.

You would need to have a pretty broad definition of "fluke."

Was it a little lucky? Sure. But a fluke? Not really. You do know that it wasn't the last play of the game right? It happened with 1:30 still to play.

Now compare that play to this.

You tell me the difference.

If LSU wins in 2011 no Orgeron and Burrow 2019.

So who knows.
