Who are you? Yoda?

Few can match Mainieri’s consistency at reaching the CWS. Florida won the title two years ago and brought back much of their team but couldn’t achieve a repeat. Virginia won in 2015 and have mostly been mediocre since. So Carolina hasn’t won shite since Tanner retired.

Early season losses mean very little.

Stop showing your ignorance.

If you truly bleed purple & gold...QUIT IT! This team will get better. We'll go through some growing pains with all the new kids on board but they will come together. It's called chemistry!

Not Mami

I’m not sold on this. Mami recruits itself. Probably the only school ever to recruit itself actually. Who doesn’t want to play for the Unicersity of MAMI?

Man this guy is lucky....am I right?

Great post. There are some certifiable idiots in here. CPM had LSU in the finals TWO YEARS AGO. If it was not for the ERic Walker injury we probably win the CWS.

And pretty good bait, based on the responses.

Umm, this works. Look two states east to see how this works in football.

How many times has the little fella played against equal talent and won?

Based on the overreactions of a lot of people on this board to two March losses, maybe the baseball program needs some life sucked out of it.

Yeah. All luck. No skill.

Say, how has Notre Dame baseball been since he left?

Some of these guys were calling Bertman back in the day, early in the season, telling him how to coach. It worked because he won anther championship that season.
We have some very savvy fans.

Seems like basketball is the only sports that play equal to their talent level

I agree with Sheek.

Paul wasn't gifted shite. He took over for the Smoke Laval disaster and has rebuilt baseball to the program we became used to under Coach Bertman. Perennial team in Omaha and y'all want to bury him. Let me ask one question: Who are you going to hire who is better?

Mainieri's coaching record and accomplishments.

Pretty goddamn impressive in my opinion.

He's only missed the NCAA tournament twice (2007 & 2011) since he became the head coach. Hard to believe that there are people complaining about a coach who has accomplished as much as Mainieri has during his time at LSU.

But then again, we are talking about the LSU fanbase.

He also had more kickers on the roster than linebackers when he hired Aranda.
